Do you want your child to learn how to make a difference in their neighborhood, schools, and community? This civic engagement summer camp for incoming 3rd – 8th graders is uniquely located in Downtown Phoenix and builds leadership skills in your child. They will walk away with a whole new level of confidence when it comes to having a say in their world. Dedicated camp counselors will engage your child with team building, fun simulations, field trips, and games. The final experience will provide campers the opportunity to host their own town hall meeting for friends, family, and community members.

WHO can attend?
Students who will be entering grades 3-8 in the Fall are eligible to participate. Participants are placed in grade-appropriate groups: Citizens (grades 3-4), Legislators (grades 5-6), Cabinet (grades 7-8).

WHEN is the camp?
Choose from one of three available sessions: June 7-11, June 14-18, June 21-25. Each session can accommodate only 30 students – register today. Camp runs from 8:30am until 3:30pm each day. Extended care hours are also available in the morning (starting at 7:30am) and afternoon (until 5:30pm).

HOW MUCH does the camp cost?
The cost is $225 per student. A $25 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration and will be applied toward the total cost of the camp. Full payment is due no later than May 31, 2010. The cost includes a camp t-shirt, field trips, and snacks. Register online now (or download the mail-in registration)
